War Status : DEFCON 5
All tactical and relevant information that isn't classified or indicative towards our plans will be posted on this page. Based on the Cold War-era of war classification and military readiness, the DEFCON system of response and mobilization will be all-intensive and important. This system has been so effective in its use, that even outside the era of nuclear war and holocaust, the DEFCON system is still in use by the US Government/Military and some NATO nations. The CRUS utilizes the DEFCON system to symbolize combat readiness and immediate threat to any and all armed forces and regiments of the Republic and its allies.
The DEFCON system will be in coordination and compliance with MCAFC war-condition and readiness. Interventionary missions/Peacekeeping missions will NOT shift the DEFCON setting. |
*War Room will actively be updated, dependent on the status of the CRUS' relations and its allies' war status.
DEFCON 5/Green - Condition Five
All situations nominal and regulated. No alert status active and crew capacity to be kept to minimal responsibility. CRUS Armed Forces are to be kept at lowered or regular alert status. DEFCON 3/Orange - Condition Three
Alert status. All personnel to be notified and on full alert. Live updates to be issued and possible quick reaction necessary. Joint battle-planning and alert to be given to Iron Legion personnel. |
DEFCON 4/Yellow - Condition Four
Suspicious alertness. Vigilance and surveillance of factions to be conducted and maintained until situations return to normal or elevation into next DEFCON level. DEFCON 2/Red - Condition Two Red alert. All personnel to be collected than briefed. Live updates to follow. Full-scale preparation and battle planning to take place. All available military expected to mobilize at a moments notice. |
DEFCON 1/White - Condition 1
Full-scale mobilization. War status. All Uniformed forces are to move out on command of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the High-Command, and attack targets designated by command. To commence a complete and total war of attrition and eliminate enemy ranks and dismantle crew infrastructure. Full-scale invasion and bombardment of enemy territories and positions. No diplomatic proceedings are to take place, and no prisoners are to be taken. At DEFCON 1 status, the situation is completely justified in terms of US Military response.
